George Tomlin
President & CEO
George is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and seasoned veteran of commercial real estate with over 35 years of experience. Early in his career, George managed the Nashville-based office of WM Capital Corporation of New York. He later joined American Diversified Capital Corporation of Costa Mesa, California as the Southeast Acquisitions and Development Manager where he oversaw the company’s growth throughout the southeast. During these years, Tomlin gained extensive experience in the site identification, acquisition, development, construction, leasing, and management of commercial properties including office, retail, and multi-family apartments.
During his career in commercial real estate Tomlin has been actively involved in over 50 million square feet of property acquisition, development, and management across the nation. He has been an active member in the International Council of Shopping Centers for more than 25 years, maintaining a strong presence within the industry.
Tomlin consistently contributes to non-profits throughout the Nashville MSA with private and public donations. He has provided sponsorship’s of the local arts, and he is personally committed as a steward of the Nashville Inner City Ministries, which supports and aids the mission to improve the lives of inner city children.
Geren Moor
Chief Financial Officer
Send EmailAs Chief Financial Officer at GBT Realty, Geren leads the financial team responsible for evaluating investment in the company’s new development throughout the country. Procuring the capital needed for these opportunities and GBT’s core assets is a major part of his role. He is also directly involved in the company’s disposition strategy for its portfolio of assets under management. Geren joined GBT Realty in 2007 after a 20-year career in banking and real estate finance. He earned his MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management in 1987.
Don Robinson
Executive Vice President, Development and Construction Management
Send EmailDon is GBT’s senior executive leading the Development and Construction teams at GBT Realty. His primary responsibility is the oversight of the company’s growth and strategic initiatives for both the Net Lease and Shopping Center Divisions.
Prior to joining GBT in 2005, Don garnered significant depth of knowledge in retail construction and development through his 40 years as President of a commercial general contracting firm, Corporate Vice President of Development for Service Merchandise, and Vice President of Construction for Target Stores. Don has an MBA in Management and a BS in Civil Engineering.
Evan Gower
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Send EmailAs Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Evan is responsible for all legal aspects of real estate development and general corporate matters at GBT Realty, including acquisition, development, entitlement, leasing, capital and finance, and disposition, providing counsel to the Shopping Center Division, the Net Lease Division, and the many subsidiaries and affiliates of GBT Realty. Evan serves in an advisory capacity on the business aspects of both the Shopping Center and Net Lease divisions, providing transactional management while coordinating the efforts of outside local counsel across the country. He assists in the structuring of capital investment and financing for GBT Realty’s developments and joint ventures and is responsible for corporate structuring and documentation.
Evan also provides internal counsel on litigation, general corporate governance and structure, and employment matters.Prior to joining GBT Realty in 2007, Evan was in private practice in Nashville, Tennessee working in commercial real estate development and finance.
Evan, his wife Amy and their three daughters live in Nashville. He is actively involved at Grace Community Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. Evan received a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in 1996 and his law degree from the University of Richmond in 1999.
Jeff Pape
Sr. VP Shopping Center Division
Send EmailJeff Pape has been providing commercial real estate development solutions throughout the east coast for over 20 years. At GBT Jeff is responsible for leading the Shopping Center Division in all aspects of Development. Prior to his role at GBT, Jeff formed D&A Development and Consulting, Inc, and held senior leadership positions with several notable commercial real estate companies, such as Vice President of Investments for Regency Centers (NYSE: REG), Vice President of Development with North American Properties, as well as a Senior Manager for The Sembler Company.
Jeff is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and sat on the ICSC Certified Design and Construction Professional (CDP) governing committee. He is a faculty member for the John T. Riordan School for Professional Development where he teaches courses in commercial real estate development and contract documents. Jeff served as a member of the ICSC Centerbuild program committee. He is also a licensed professional engineer.
Craig Cole
Executive VP of Development
Send EmailCraig Cole leads GBT Realty’s Net Lease Division. He brings more than ten years’ experience in retail development, and has managed the development of more than three million square feet of single-tenant, build-to-suit properties across the country. Prior to leading the Net Lease Division, Craig was responsible for GBT’s development of over two million square feet of first-class shopping center space across the Southeast. Craig is also licensed professional engineer.
Rita Bryant
Sr. VP Asset Management
Send EmailRita is responsible for the asset management of GBT’s existing portfolio and its new development projects. This includes the review and processing of all leases, legal support for property management, and legal matters related to GBT’s dispositions. Prior to joining GBT in 2011, Rita served in Realty Income Corporation’s in-house legal department for almost 7 years, working on the San Diego-based REIT’s $3.6 billion portfolio. Before that, she headed up the in-house legal department as partner of a North Carolina shopping center development company. Rita earned her Law degree in South Africa.
